PRICE POLICY
Stays of a minimum duration of 2 nights, except for single nights available between 2 reservations.
The basic price of an overnight stay is for 1 or 2 people. A fee of $40 per additional person, per night, is added to the reservation for the 3rd and 4th guests.
If a small assistance or support dog is accepted by the host (see conditions), there will be a fee of $25/night payable by the guest upon reservation.
A 15% discount is applied to reservations of 7 nights or more.
A 15% discount is applied to last minute reservations (within 7 days of the date of stay).
An early check-in is possible at 2 p.m. instead of 4 p.m. for an additional $35, payable upon reservation.
A late check-out is possible at 1 p.m. instead of 11 a.m. for an additional $35, payable upon reservation.
The total amount of the stay, including the accommodation tax and the GST-TVQ, is collected at the time of booking.
The amount of the security deposit of $1000 will be held on the client's credit card the day before their arrival and released in full 7 days after their “check-out” from the lodge (see conditions).

At the Pine Hill Sources, we strive to provide our clients with a memorable experience. However, we understand that unexpected situations can arise. Below is our refund policy, in accordance with applicable laws in Québec:
Cancellation more than 30 days before the stay:
If a cancellation is made 30 days or more prior to the scheduled date of stay, a full refund will be issued.
Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used at the time of booking, within 10 business days of confirming the cancellation.
Cancellation between 14 and 30 days from the date of stay:
If a cancellation is made less than 30 days, but more than 14 days from the planned date of stay, a 50% refund will be given.
However, we offer the option to reschedule the stay for a later date, subject to availability and any applicable rate differences.
Cancellation 14 days or less from the date of stay:
If a cancellation is made less than 14 days from the planned date of stay, no refund will be given.
However, we offer the option to reschedule the stay for a later date, subject to availability and any applicable rate differences.
No-shows or failure to check in:
In case of no-show on the scheduled date of stay, no refund or postponement will be granted.
Force Majeure Cases:
If the cancellation is due to an unforeseeable event beyond the client’s control (serious illness, death, natural disaster, etc.), we will review the refund request on a case-by-case basis, upon presentation of appropriate supporting documents.
Terms for Modifications or Cancellations:

The date the request is received will determine the applicable refund timeline or penalties.
Reservations Made Through a Third Party:
If the reservation was made through a third-party platform (e.g., Booking.com, Expedia), the policies of that platform apply and may differ from those outlined here.

regulations and terms of the rental contract
OCCUPANTS. If more guests than the number at reservation are found in the lodge and its facilities, this agreement will be subject to an additional cost of $40/person/night for a maximum of 4 guests in total.
GUARANTEE DEPOSIT. The guarantee deposit is intended for faithful execution by the guest of the terms and conditions of this agreement. A part of the deposit could be kept by the host for a deep clean of the place and its furniture, if smoke or animals where in the place for example. Same for repairs or replacements required after the stay of the guest and that would be compensated by the deposit. If there are other damages not covered by the guarantee deposit, such as a broken sofa, the client will be held liable for the repair or replacement of broken items.
TIME OF ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE. The guest may occupy the lodge starting at 4pm, or 2pm for an early check-in, and must leave the lodge at 11am for a regular departure, or 1pm for a late check-out. Early arrivals and late departures are payable at the time of booking, and if not, must be charged to the client at a rate of $35 for any late departure after 11 am not indicated into the reservation, and not exceeding 2 hours.
UTILIZATION OF INSTALLATIONS. The customer is invited to watch the YouTube videos from the Pine Hill Sources to learn how to use the heating, spa, sauna, hammam, etc. installations. and avoid any damage due to misuse. The guest is to use the lodge at the unique residential ends and is not authorized to sell products or services at the lodge, nor to run a commercial business, nor to subrent the place. It is possible to reserve the two lodges at the same time for special occasion, under the approval of the host.
QUIET HOURS. Guests must respect the tranquility of the premises at all times. Most notably, quiet hours begin at 10:00 p.m. each evening and continue until sunrise. Quiet hours consist of keeping all vocal or musical sound to a minimum level out of respect for surrounding residents.
RESPECT FOR NEIGHBORS. The guest, as well as neighbors, should enjoy each other's company in a calm and respectful manner for everyone's enjoyment. The guest must behave in a civilized manner with all residents in the immediate area.
SEPTIC TANK Guests should not put anything other than toilet paper in the toilet. It is forbidden to throw tampons, sanitary towels, tissues, solid food or other items in the toilet; these should be put in the trash. No food should enter sink or dishwasher pipes, the guest has to throw all debris into the trash or compost and rinse dishes well before putting them in the dishwasher.
PETS. The Host does not allow guests' pets, with some exceptions (see dogs allowed).
ASSISTANCE OR SUPPORT DOG. The host can accept assistance or support dogs for an additional cost of $25 per night, payable upon reservation. The dog must be small, hypoallergenic and not barking, clean, controllable, on a leash outside and never left alone inside. The guest will pick up all their dog's droppings and protect all furniture with a personal sheet if the dog settles there. The guest may have to pay for a deep cleaning, additional to the regular cleaning, if the dog ever leaves hair in the premises, or to pay for the repair or replacement of furniture or equipment in the event of damage by the dog.
SMOKING POLICY. Smoking is prohibited anywhere other than in the parking lot. No smoking of any kind is tolerated in the lodges and their surrounding areas.
CAMPFIRE. A place is assigned for the campfire and must not be moved by the guest. Under no circumstances may the guest make a fire anywhere other than in the outdoor fireplace and the fire must be of reasonable size to remain safe within the confines of the fireplace. No fire will be left unattended. Wood is provided to guests by the host and the guest may not use excess wood from the surrounding forest. If the guest ever wanted more wood, they could request it from the host, for an excess cost, or obtain it elsewhere than on the lodge grounds, at their own expense.
DOCK AND BOATS. Boats (kayak, paddleboard and pedalo) and life jackets are available to guests at the dock of the Pine Hill Sources. Guests must be courteous and share boats equitably between different guests from different lodges. It is obligatory to wear a life jacket to navigate on the lake in all boats provided.
CLEANING. The cleaning fee payable upon booking is set by the host and is intended only to cover the cost of normal cleaning between bookings (laundry, vacuuming, etc.). Guests must not leave the accommodation in a condition that would require excessive or thorough cleaning (with moldy food remains, dirty couches or cushions or soiling from service animals, etc.). In such a case, the guest understands that he or she would have to pay for a complete deep cleaning which could cost up to $300 more, taken from the security deposit.
MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS. The Guest must maintain the lodge in good condition, clean and ready for rental (excluding regular cleaning) and use the lodge only in a prudent and lawful manner. The Client will have to pay maintenance and repair costs if the lodge and its facilities are left in a poorer condition than at their arrival, apart from normal wear and tear of the premises.
TRASH, RECYCLING, COMPOST. Guests must take out all waste generated during the rental period and place it in the various bins for this purpose, in the parking lot or on the street.
PROPANE. The host provides 5% of the 400 liter propane tank, for each rental, for reasonable use of the BBQ and the indoor fireplace which both run on propane. A dial is on the bottle to see the % on arrival and the % on departure. Any excess usage may be billed by the host at the rate of $1.50 per liter.
SNOW REMOVAL. The host pays for snow removal from the parking lot and lodge facilities. Snow removal from parking lots is done at all times when there is a snowfall, but snow removal from facilities (balconies and paths) is only done between rentals so as not to disturb guests. A shovel is made available to guests to allow them to clear snow from these areas, if necessary, between their arrival and their departure.
POSSESSIONS. Anything found on the Pine Hill Sources site when guests arrive belongs to the Sources and must remain on the premises. Any missing item may be claimed from the customer and may be billed. Personal items left by the guest in the lodge or its surroundings are not the responsibility of the host, although the host will make reasonable efforts to return the item to the guest.
RESPONSIBILITY OF THE HOST. The Guest and all his guests hereby indemnify and hold harmless the Host against any claim for personal injury or property damage or loss arising from the use of the premises, regardless of the nature of the accident, the injury or the loss. The guest is aware that thermotherapy may cause risks to the health of certain guests for which the host cannot be held responsible. Also, Guest expressly acknowledges that any insurance for property damage or loss that Host may maintain on the property does not cover Guest's personal property and that Guest must maintain their own insurance if such coverage is desired.
ATTORNEY FEES. Guest agrees to pay all reasonable costs, attorneys' fees and expenses incurred by Host in enforcing this Agreement.
NON-COMPLIANCE WITH THE CONTRACT. If the client and his guests fail to comply with the terms and conditions of The Pine Hill Sources, the host may terminate the contract immediately, without notice and without possibility of refund. The host may use the security deposit to compensate himself for any damage or breakage to the premises and their installations and equipment, or for any loss on the property.
